We are all sharing the loss of Ivan Montiel. Ivan was extremely well-regarded by the entire academic community, providing outstanding contributions to the field of business and society, specifically corporate environmental sustainability. To celebrate Ivan's life and legacy, Baruch College of The City University of New York—where he had been a Professor of Business Sustainability since 2016—would like to "create an endowed scholarship in his name." Baruch College has long been a catalyst for the economic and social mobility of its diverse student population. Ivan loved the mission of the school to lift up students who are underprivileged.
